Litter in the hallway. Litter in the bedroom. Litter under your bare foot at 6am. Your cat isn't doing it on purpose β granules wedge between their toes in the box and drop off wherever they happen to be walking thirty seconds later.
A flat mat doesn't fix that. It just moves the pile somewhere slightly different, and then you have to deal with the pile.
This one has two layers, and that's the whole idea.
The top is a large-aperture honeycomb. When your cat steps on it their paw spreads and the holes open, so the granules fall through instead of scattering across the floor. Underneath is a sealed lower layer β one seamless piece with no gaps at the edges β that catches everything and holds it out of sight.
Emptying it takes about ten seconds. The side opens like a pocket: lift it, tilt it, and pour the litter straight back into the box. No shaking it over a bin, no dragging the vacuum out.
The base is grooved and non-slip, so it stays where you put it instead of sliding across the floor and flipping over the first time a cat sprints off it. And the whole mat is fully waterproof β soak it, rinse it under the tap, wipe it down and put it back.
