Watch it work

Scratch. Treat. Done.

Close the door with a treat inside, set the board down, and let your dog do the rest. Every scratch files the nails a little shorter — no clippers, no grinder, no one holding a paw.

  • Files gradually, so there is no quick to hit
  • Your dog chooses to play and can walk away any time
  • 5-minute sessions, a few times a week

Short, Healthy Nails — Without Clippers, Grinders, or a Fight

Your dog files their own nails. You just hand over the treat.
Drop a treat in, slide the door shut, set the board down. Your dog scratches to get it, and the emery filing surface files the nails with every swipe.
  • Files, doesn’t cut — no blade, no spinning head, no quick to hit
  • No paw-holding — your dog controls the pressure and can walk away
  • Works for paw-shy rescues, reactive dogs and grinder-haters
  • Replaceable filing pad — peel off, press on a new one
  • Small to large breeds, puppies to seniors

Have a Question ?

Will my dog actually use it?

Most dogs are scratching within the first few sessions — it uses the digging instinct they already have, and the treat does the rest. Cautious dogs may take a few days with the 3-day guide. Still not using it after a few weeks? Our 30-day money-back guarantee covers you.

What about the back paws and dewclaws?

The board files the front nails — the ones that grow fastest and do the damage. Back nails wear down from walking. For dewclaws and back nails, pair it with our Hero 2-in-1 LED Nail Clipper & Grinder in the Complete Nail Kit bundle.

Is the filing surface safe for paw pads?

Yes. The surface files nails gradually while the pads glide over it, and your dog controls the pressure. Keep sessions to 5–10 minutes.

How long until I see shorter nails?

Blunted tips in 1–2 weeks; visibly shorter nails by about day 21 with a few 5-minute sessions a week. Badly overgrown nails take longer as the quick recedes.

How often do I replace the filing pad?

Every 4–8 weeks with regular use. When it feels smooth, peel off the old sheet and press on a new pad. Replacement pads are sold on this page.

Does it work for big dogs, puppies, and seniors?

Yes — small to large breeds. Puppies learn fastest; seniors benefit most, since long nails strain wrists and hips and cause slipping on hard floors. For strong scratchers, brace the board against your leg or a wall.

    No More Nail-Trimming Battles

My dog absolutely hates having his paws touched, so nail trims were always a battle. I put a few treats in the compartment and he figured this out almost immediately. After about a week of short sessions, I could already see a noticeable difference in his front nails. So much easier than chasing him around with clippers.

    She Thinks It’s a Game

I was honestly skeptical that my dog would actually use this, but the treat drawer did the trick. She scratches at it like it’s a game and has no idea she’s filing her nails at the same time. Five minutes here and there has been way less stressful for both of us.

    Perfect for Thick, Dark Nails

My dog has thick dark nails and I’m always nervous about cutting them too short. This has been a great alternative for keeping his front nails under control between trims. He learned how to use it on the first day and now gets excited whenever I bring it out.

So Much Easier for My Senior Dog

I bought this for my senior dog because nail clipping has gotten harder as he’s gotten older. He doesn’t like being held still, but he has no problem scratching this for treats. I love that I can let him do it at his own pace, and the replaceable scratching pad is a really nice touch.
